Free Apps

I’ll be reviewing each of the following apps soon, but in the meantime, I’ve included descriptions of the apps and their cost so you know what is available on the market.

Personal Security Apps

Using personal security apps, you can ask friends, family, professional monitoring services and even police to watch over you while you're out and send emergency alerts if you need help. Many of these personal safety apps even offer the option to take photo or video of assailants, making it easy to prosecute them and encourage them to move on. WARNING – most of these apps only text friends and family that you are in danger and provide your GPS location. They don’t necessarily call 911 for you so do your homework if looking into these options!
